So it's obvious I have been MIA for a while, just lots of stuff going on, and w/ going camping every weekend, there is not much time to catch up on stuff.
So, I'll start w/ my problem....I went to the surgeon on Monday, turns out (yeah, I know, insert eye roll here) that the radiologist that read my CatScan results, saw an inflammation of my "loop", and therefore suggested I might have an adhesion on my intestine, and then when my PCP got those results that is all the info she passed on to me, "that I did have an adhesion". So once the surgeon reviewed my CatScan video, he saw no adhesion...but is very concerned of such "loop" being inflamed. So now I will go for an Upper GI in a couple weeks....don't forget $3000 deductable to deal with. He thinks it could possibly be an ulcer from where my Dr in 2004 attached my intestine to my then new stomach. The Upper GI could possibly show an ulcer or not, so then he will recommend a Gaestrologist to do a scope, if said ulcer is there, and he will do a biopsy to make sure it is not cancerous,....all providing it's an ulcer. If not, I am back to square one, re-diagnosis?????? Wish me luck. At least the pain has gotten a little less painful, still feel it, but no where near as much as I did that one week.
I have been working on Amelia's room diligently, every night this week I have come home and started immediately working on her room...first I pulled out the curtains and ironed them and hung them, getting all the crib bedding, curtains etc in a bag for the consignment shop, picking up all the stuff laying around. Then yesterday I came home and had purchased a new cubie (some assembly required) for her room, as I needed somewhere to store all the stuff in the changing table, so I put it all in the fabric boxes that get inserted in the cubie and took the changing table, the rocking chair and the playpen out of her room. Then John came home and looked at me like I was crazy w/ the changing table sitting in the middle of the living room, when I told him he had to find room for it, because I loved it so much I couldn't part w/ it yet...as will be the problem w/ her crib. So we then decided it would be best to put this in Amelia's closet....full closet mind you...so we proceeded to empty her closet as I stacked everything up on the changing table and we then wheeled it in. Good thing, now the closet is clean too. So we are now waiting for the bed, that was promised to be delivered on Wednesday (today), but then I got the shipping confirmation, Wednesday not!!!! It shows a delivery date of June 30th thru July 7th....of course we will be on vacation this week. So I called the company and said, your website and my sales rep said it would be about 3 working days for my delivery, they said "oh no, that is for people who are closer to us, not Florida". Well at least it is being delivered to John's work, so there will be someone there to get it for us, and hopefully we can have it delivered to our house so we can assemble it Sunday night when we return home...just going camping for our vacation........
So now everything is ready, just waiting for the big-girl bed. The other day I went to Target to try to find Amelia some sheets to match her comforter, because unbeknownst (is this a word?) to me, there were no sheets w/ her 'bed in a bag', and of course it is discontinued, so I found the cutest 250 thread count sheets, pink w/ white polka dots, on clearance for $10.48, and I got home and they couldn't have matched better. I just loved these sheets, so the next day I went to another Target to get another pair, couldn't beat that price, well I bought 3 more, for the camper, one Queen size, one Full size, one Twin size.....can I give you a word of advice........yeah, don't wash all three sets in one load........How the heck do you know which is which size when they come out?????? Yeah, I have since marked them w/ a sharpie on the tags.
So that's it from here, not a heck of a lot going on. Oh yeah, I did forget to mention, that on Monday night we took the tent off Amelia's bed, and I told her she is not allowed to climb out of her crib, and she said "okay mommy", and guess what........she hasn't. I am requesting continuous praying on this one, as I am so afraid when I get the big girl bed, I will be faced again w/ sleepless nights of Amelia playing and reading and Mommy not sleeping.
Hope all is well, send me some comment love...let me know I haven't lost y'all...........
