Here we are...........

I have been inspired by several blogs I read to start my own blog, feel free to follow us in the lives of our Princess and our Ladybug, (who will also be often referred to as the monster).

In November 2003 we met Kaylie Geraldine Meiliyan, what a perfect baby....although we referred to her as the baby w/ the bad combover, she outgrew that and is now 5 and will be 6 on 12/23/08. She is a great big sister and a wonderful daughter, our princess if you will.

In July 2007 we met Amelia Claire Chan, she too was a perfect baby....it was one of the best decisions we ever made to adopt another little girl, she is a little girl full of energy and vinegar......as you will notice, Amelia isn't quite as well behaved as Kaylie was.

Kaylie always did whatever I told her, no questions, no fights, no squams...she just said "ok, mommy" and was such a good girl......then came Amelia, who will look me square in the face when I am telling her not to do something and continue to do it anyway, as if I am not even speaking to her....she is now lovingly referred to as the monster...I know I called this the princess and the ladybug, but I couldn't call our blog the princess and the monster...or could I??? ;O)

Anyway, it is true when they say God knows what he is doing...first of all, Amelia is beautiful...well she had to have a coverup didn't she? And if Amelia was #1, who knows if I would have had the energy or patients for a #2...........

So follow along, or don't....whatever you decide...but if you decide to stay, welcome...let me know what you think.............
