Well, I have been asking John to get my pilates machine for quite some time now and I finally got it this weekend. It has been at my mom's house for quite some time in her garage, because when I bought it over a year ago I just couldn't stretch the way you need to from my hernia surgery, but I thought if it still hurt I would just push through the pain, I really want to start doing something and the bike just isn't an option right now that I am in to...have to be in the mood you know.
So I got on the machine when I got home from work and all of a sudden I had Amelia standing in the living room chanting, "go Mommy, go Mommy, go Mommy". It was so cute, I was actually surprised she didn't climb on top of me and let me do it. Then all of a sudden I notice I wasn't quite flowing down towards the trampoline as I should have been, I looked over and there she was in the chair w/ the arm pulley pulling it as hard as she could, she was actually pulling my entire body up on the machine. I finally got her to release and I looked above my head to see two chairs set up, this was the audience section that Kaylie set up to watch Mommy.

So then I decided to sit up on the machine and do some arm exercises, and Amelia still had the pully in her hand, so I asked her for it, she flung it at me, and let me tell you OUCH!!!! You know how when something hits you it automatically not only has to hit you right on the bone, but of course if there's a metal part on the flying object that is of course the part you will get hit with. So let's just say that I have some VERY boney ankles, (only skinny part on my body, abnormally skinny if you ask my mom) and the metal part on the arm pully nailed me right on the bone, so right now not only is it throbbing like a booger, I can't bend it either....this is my luck.
See the only metal piece on this contraption, yeah, right in the ankle....
I suppose if I can bend my ankle I will try again tom and for more than the 15 minutes I lasted today........wish me luck.
