So yesterday was Jamie's wedding shower, after much, much planning and lots of work we finally pulled it off. Although we think Jamie figured us out, her and Mike were heading to the store and Jamie found a stray dog, well she decided to try to find it's home....on her way in doing so, she passed my street while Michele and I were loading the loot, food, drinks, and decorations in the car...Mike knew the plan, so at this point he was screaming at her to 'just go the store', because he saw what was going on. Jamie never admitted to knowing what was happening, but we think she knew, but it's still overwhelming when you arrive, even if you do know.
The party went off w/out a hitch, everyone had a great time, we had games, socializing, food, lots of food. When everyone got there I planned a get to know each other game and everyone had to get up and mingle and find people w/ the same answers as they have, i.e. someone w/ the same birth month as them. Then Jamie arrived and we ate and did the "How well do you know your mate" game, Jamie only got 12 out of 20 questions correct...Mikey was in a lot of trouble, it was quite funny.
Then Jamie opened gifts and we had some more games to play. It was a great time, and thanks to all that showed up.

Looks like everyone had a great time! I have never heard about the pot holder lore, but then again, I don't get out much.
Well you surely must have gotten a lot at your shower...haha
