Thunderstorm alert..........(Well, what'd you think I was going to say???) haha
So Jamie and Mike got John this watch for being in their wedding, I remember when he first got it the alarm would go off at midnight, and I tried, but couldn't figure out how to turn if off...it came w/ no instructions. Well then it disappeared, I think John was leaving it in his truck. So this weekend he decided to take off his watch in the camper and low and behold the darn thing went off at midnight again, I was going to kill him, see he sleeps right through it, and by the time I can actually wake him up to turn the darn thing off it is over. Well of course I was 1/2 asleep Friday night when it went off, so by Saturday night I had forgotten to warn him to leave it in his truck. So Saturday night at midnight, the darn thing was going off again. Well Sunday I REMEMBERED, actually it was quite the big joke. There are signs all around the camp ground that it is illegal to feed or irritate the alligators, well I tell you what, those alligators were going to be irritated when I threw that damn watch in the water w/ them, because I wasn't having it anymore. But Jamie on Sunday "turned off the alarm", yeah right. Sunday night midnight, the stinking thing was going off again, but if you recall I was awake anyway, because I was Under the Sea. So I figured that John was smart enough to leave it in his truck on Monday when we got home. Well here, goes Monday, midnight I can hear it in the bedroom from the kitchen, I started hitting him to get up and turn it off, and he said "When Chloe is ready to get up, just let me know"...yeah, needless to say, it went off before he got out of bed again. So I had had it, I remembered on Wednesday, finally, to look online for instructions for the watch, turns out they were all shipped w/ out instructions, but I called the company and they emailed them to me.
Well Tuesday night it was 11:30 pm....and CHIRP, CHIRP, CHIRP, CHIRP.........I don't know how to explain it, but you know the warning that flashes and screams across your TV, or the testing of the emergency broadcasting systems, imagine this above your head, on the headboard of your bed.....yeah buddy.....(Amy bought John a weather alert alarm clock for Christmas a couple years ago), well this thing went off, and John jumped out of bed so fast and high I was hysterically laughing. In the meantime this thing is SO LOUD, it was screaming there was a thunderstorm warning, hail, all the counties, winds up to 60 mph, and not once but they repeated themselves like 3 times. I was telling him to turn it down, he was yelling I can't, we were both trying to find a volume button, I was like put it under your pillow or something, well this is no little alarm clock, so there he is laying on top of this alarm clock under his pillow.....I have to tell you I was hysterical, actually laughing right now at the thought.... ha!!!! Payback is a B$%@h
Well, guess what, John remembered to pull out his instruction book last night and figure out how to turn the volume down for the warnings, yeah, he remembered that, but not about the darn watch............
