The set up

So as you are aware we started our summer long camping this past weekend. We usually don't start this early, but this year we thought we'd give it a shot, in fact we went a weekend earlier than planned originally so that we weren't so busy on Memorial Day weekend. John had the day off on Friday, so he, Dad, Mike and Mike's parents went up early Friday afternoon/morning. They arrived and started hard at work...they settled the campers and started building the tents. See my mom has always had a tent behind her camper w/ a table and chairs and a cooler in there, that is where we sit daily to eat, play games, read the paper. Well this year we moved our camp sites to the back of the park and we got a huge side lot to put the tent on, so I went ahead and purchased a second tent for the 'kids'. I bought some patio furniture, a loveseat and two chairs, a little kid's picnic table and I put my recliner chair I got for Christmas in there. It's actually quite a cute set up. I also purchased a step 2 playhouse for the girls, it is on the other side of mom's camper, so I will admit, we've got a pretty sweet set up this year. We came home Sunday night and Amelia has told me every night since that she wants to go camping, and so I explain to her on a daily basis that we go camping on the weekend and she will look at me and say Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and I say yes.... We are also able to now use our scooters I got John for Christmas to travel to and from the pool, and of course joy ride around the park. It will be a fun summer, and I can't wait for our friends to visit. In September the campsite has a customer appreciation weekend and I am trying to plan a get together of adoptive families for that weekend, it will be so much fun.
Hope you enjoy the photos, and let us know when you can come visit.........we'd love to have you.

John was building the playhouse, and Mike was ringing, and ringing, and ringing the doorbell, I'm thinking he better stop soon, or dodge the drill The girls love their new playhouse
