Today was our court appearance to finally adopt Amelia in the State of Florida. Of course she was officially ours when we adopted her in China and came home with her. But in order to get a FL birth certificate and make life easier when it comes to school registration etc we decided to adopt her in the State of Florida. We were joined by my friend Sue and her daughter Brittney, visiting us from NY, the moved there a while ago, and happened to be in town for a wedding, so they came to our ceremony.
