25 Random Things............

So I have joined Facebook, and I got tagged w/ a 25 random things task, I had to list 25 random things about me that people might not know about me. So I took advantage of this task and just like my friend Denise @ There's Always Room For One More I took advantage of all this hard work and am using it as a blog post too, so enjoy and why not try to take the challenge yourself:

1. I am a very routiney person, I have a routine that I stick to every night, when it gets changed or I am late getting home, I get a little crazy.
2. I hate to brown hamburg, it kills my fingers, my wrist, my arm.
3. I love to cook, especially when the kids like what I cook, John eats anything.
4. I wish I had more patience, especially w/ the kids and John. (working on this)
5. I only get my hair cut once a year if that often.
6. I never put water in the tub when I give the girls a bath, 1,2, 3 bath everynight, get in, get clean, get out.
7. I am very happy my sister never got the chance to marry her first fiancee, he was not the right fit for her or anyone else in our family.
8. I am very saddened lately at the thought of someone we all thought we knew very well, he has turned out to be a very different, not nice, not responsible, person. Not the kind of person we want to associate with. I truely miss the old person.
9. I would really like a bigger house, but only if I could win the lottery, because I don't want the payment that goes along w/ a bigger house.
10. I am a cheapskate, I get really upset if the kids waste paper cups or paper napkins, put them on the counter and use them again for goodness sake.
11. I want to start working out, I need to find the time in my non breakable routine, and am waiting for my husband to go get my pilates machine at my mom's house...yeah I have been asking for a month, how much longer do you think I'll have to wait.
12. I love, love, loved the Disney Cruise, and really want to go on it again.
13. I lie awake at night worrying, about life, the people in my life etc.
14. I hate marshmellow fluff.
15. I don't think I want any more kids, but at approaching age 39 this year, I better make that decision soon.
16. I wish John's daughter Jessa, would become a part of our lives again, she is not by her choice.
17. I hate to sweep the floor.
18. This is not as hard as I thought it would be, I thought it would take a day or two to compile this list.
19. I used to onlly like yellow gold, I know like white gold better.
20. I used to love mile, I can't drink it anymore, I have become lactose intolerant since my surgery.
21. I sometimes like to be alone...which does not happen often, w/ a 1200 sq foot house, 2 children and a husband.
22. My kitchen is decorated in Disney decor, the dishes, the plates, the cups, the silverware, the curtains, the fridge magnets, the canisters, the cabinet knobs, and the homemade napking and papertowel holders (made by me). I am sure I am missing more.
23. I don't know how you single mothers do it, I admire you, you are a lot stronger than me.
24. I never thought this would happen, but I actually like camping, now that we have our own trailer/camper.
25. My husband goes to work from 6 am until approximately 7:30 pm every day, when he gets home I am off the clock, he plays w/ the girls and puts them to bed..this is his special time w/ them. I know he should get a break, but I need one too, and he enjoys doing this w/ them.

Great list. Mine turned out to easier than i thought once I got rolling.

Don't be too hard on yourself about the patience thing. You're working outside the home and then you come home and you're working again. When I get tired I get more grouchy and less patient. Over the years I've learned to try to keep myself from getting too tired by letting some stuff go or spreading chores out but it doesn't always work. Don't forget, we're still human.

Denise, thanks for your encouragement, it helps. But you are right we are human, but patience is just a virtue I don't possess much of, so I am trying to remember that and not snap so much.
