Thanksgiving Day

Above are photos of Kaylie, Daddy and Amelia watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade on TV, it was so funny, Amelia got so excited when she recognized the balloons, she would scream and point at the TV. And then there is a photo of Chloe reading the black Friday fliers.

Thanksgiving Day was a good day and we got quite a bit accomplished as usual.....on Thanksgiving we usually start decorating mom's house. This year was a little different, John and Mike started to tackle the outside of the house and finished up today. I on the other hand was engrossed in a project w/ my dad for my mom. We had to 'build' her Christmas present, measuring, sawing, nailing....the whole kit and kaboodle. Today, Friday, my dad went over and sanded and stained the project, now I have to do the artwork and he will then seal and we will then put it back together. My mom doesn't read my blog, so anyone who does and talks to her, shhhh....top secret info. Once the project is complete I will post a photo.
While we were busy, mom, Michele and Jamie finished up dinner. Amy had to work..and the kids had an absolute blast just running around and playing outside... Amelia was so dirty her boogers were covered in dirt. Tonight she was so dirty again, after playing outside again, I windexed her feet....I was cleaning off her highchair and my sister pointed out the filth...so I used what I had and it worked pretty good until bath time.
I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving w/ friends and family.
